The Tatlow Summer Solstice Whitewater Festival is back this summer.
The event, hosted by the Bulkley Valley Kayak and Canoe Club is scheduled for June 21 to 23 at Tatlow Falls in Smithers.
The weekend event will include favourite competitions from past years, as well as, added competitions for paddleboarding, kayaking and surfing.
There will also be live music, a DJ dance party, and barbecues.
For the past couple of years more than 100 spectators and more than 20 competitors have participated in the event and taken part in associated outdoor activities.
For competitors, registration costs $10 for club members, while non-members must pay $30. Both entry fees include camping.
Spectators must pay $15 and a $30 camping fee, while children under the age of 12 are free to attend.
